You Don't have to Barbell Back Squat

So that's the only thing that from experience, I'll say, with the, the like if your main goal is hypertrophy over strength, not that they don't happen the same time, they absolutely do, we talked about in the program. But there are other things that you can do if you've been doing the same thing for so long. And you're like, this isn't working for me. And it's not because you haven't been putting enough effort towards it. It's not because like all the other factors that are involved, like you just mentioned, because those are very important that 99% 95% Those things are important. But anyway, now I like we're just debating about this.

I think it's something that is important, because everybody is different, and everybody has different goals. And I think that, you know, just because it is maybe a little bit more nuanced. I think that if you're educated and you understand why you're doing what you're doing, like that, and that's what we talked about in the program, like then you can use that to empower yourself and be like, Hey, I'm going to try this out and see if this works for me. And if it doesn't, it doesn't, but if it does, then look, you just got another tool in your toolbox to help you continue to progress. So yeah, I mean, I'm just gonna say one other thing too. Like, if you are someone out there who has been barbell back squatting for a while and it's in you just don't like doing it.

You do not have to barbell back squat to build your legs. And I made that mistake for years, because some of us don't have the structure to be able to optimize that. But I'm just gonna say that. If you hate barbell back squatting, you don't have to do it.
